Arbor Ales
Arbor Ales is a Bristol craft brewery established in 2007, producing alcohol-free pale ales alongside its core full-strength range from its Easton Road site in the city.
The brewery has grown into a substantial independent operation, with annual output exceeding one and a half million pints across the full range. Arbor Ales is known within the craft beer community for heavily hopped styles, particularly pale ales and IPAs, and packages the majority of its beers in 568ml pint cans rather than the 330ml or 440ml formats common across the sector.
The AF range continues this packaging philosophy. Arbor produces alcohol-free pale ales at 0.5% ABV, certified gluten-free, in the same pint can format. The use of multiple aromatic hop varieties gives the AF beers a tropical, hop-forward character consistent with the brewery's full-strength output. For sober-curious drinkers who want genuine hop character in an alcohol-free format, the combination of pint can sizing and gluten-free certification distinguishes Arbor's AF beers from the typical smaller-format options that dominate the mainstream AF shelf.
The brewery distributes through independent specialist retailers and its own online shop, at a mid-range price point consistent with its independent craft positioning.
