The brand was built in partnership with the Biasiotto family, third-generation winemakers in the Valdobbiadene region of northern Italy, the historic heartland of Prosecco production. Della Vite's alignment with an established family producer in Valdobbiadene gives the brand a winemaking foundation that extends beyond its celebrity origins. The name translates from Italian as 'of the vine', anchoring the brand in its winemaking heritage. The winery operates on 100% solar energy, and all products carry vegan certification.

The alcohol-free range uses an atmospheric distillation process to remove alcohol from the wine. Atmospheric distillation heats the wine at normal air pressure until the alcohol evaporates, separating it from the remaining liquid while preserving the wine's aromatic character. The alcohol-free sparkling range is made from a blend of Pinot Grigio and Pinot Nero grapes, maintaining the same Italian varietal base as the core Prosecco range.

The AF sparkling range sits at the premium end of the alcohol-free sparkling wine category, targeted at sober-curious drinkers who want a genuinely wine-derived alternative to Prosecco with a credible production backstory. Distribution spans premium specialist and high-end retail channels, giving the alcohol-free range a narrower footprint than the core Prosecco line, which has a broader mainstream reach.
