Days Brewing

Gould and Keith launched Days to address a gap they had experienced personally: the alcohol-free beer category lacked options well-suited to active lifestyles, and the production methods behind most existing AF beers weren't ones they could get behind. Most alcohol-free beer is brewed conventionally and then dealcoholised, a process in which the alcohol is removed from a finished beer, often using heat, which can affect the final character. Days takes a different route: its triple-filtered brewing method is engineered so that alcohol never forms, removing the need for any subsequent removal step. Every batch is brewed using water from the Lammermuir Hills, directly adjacent to the Scottish brewery.

The brand launched with lagers and pale ales in September 2020 and has since expanded to include fruit-infused lager variants, giving the AF range broader appeal across beer drinker preferences. Days Brewing raised £1 million in seed funding in 2021 from consumer investors, backing continued growth while the business has stayed independently run.

Through the Days Duty programme, the brand commits 1% of all sales to mental health organisations. The programme is structured as an ongoing commitment rather than a campaign, running in parallel with the brand's active-lifestyle positioning.

Distribution is multi-channel, spanning mainstream supermarkets and specialist alcohol-free retailers as well as the brand's own direct-to-consumer site, giving fitness-focused drinkers wide access to a Scottish-produced, independently owned 0.0% beer with a transparent production approach.
