Weekend Project operates as a sister label to Mobberley Brewhouse, created to give the founders space to explore small-batch, experimental brewing styles and techniques that sit outside the main Mobberley range. The project label functions as a creative outlet: where Mobberley Brewhouse maintains a defined identity, Weekend Project is free to experiment with techniques and flavour profiles on a release-by-release basis. Releases are limited in volume, deliberately rotating, and built around contemporary craft beer styles. The alcohol-free range extends this approach into the AF category, with hop-forward IPAs occupying a central position.

The broader portfolio covers limited releases across IPAs and modern stouts, with the catalogue kept deliberately small and fresh rather than building out permanent lines. Distribution runs through the brand's own webshop and specialist alcohol-free and craft beer retailers. Weekend Project is not positioned for mainstream supermarket shelves: it targets drinkers who seek out craft releases through specialist channels, and the AF range sits within that same specialist, flavour-first approach.
