Fremont Brewing is a family-owned craft brewery based in Seattle, Washington, founded in 2009 by Matt Lincecum and Sara Nelson with an initial capacity of 1,000 barrels a year. Named after Seattle's Fremont neighbourhood, the brewery grew to become the third largest craft brewery in Washington state and its largest producer of barrel-aged beer. The production brewery in Ballard spans 80,000 square feet, and the company has plans to scale capacity to 250,000 barrels a year. In 2017, Fremont opened the Black Heron Project, a facility specialising in farmhouse and barrel-aged beers. Co-founder Sara Nelson was elected to the Brewers Association board in February 2020.

Fremont sources hops from a fourth-generation hop-growing family in the Yakima Valley, holding an exclusive contract for Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic varieties alongside a separate partnership for organic hops that dates back to 2010. Barley comes from the Okanogan Valley in British Columbia and water from the Cedar River watershed in the Cascade Mountains. The brewery uses organic grain for some of its smaller-batch beers and joined the American Organic Hop Grower Association to lobby for changes to organic beer certification rules.

Fremont is one of the original signatories of the Brewery Climate Declaration, a member of WA Business for Climate Action, and an EnviroStars green business member. The brewery has taken the Clean Water Pledge and partners with the Natural Resources Defense Council. On site, a system called HORSE converts food waste into renewable energy and fertiliser, and only hybrid vehicles are used for sales.

The brewery's alcohol-free beer is brewed and fully fermented before the alcohol is removed using a specialised process designed to preserve flavour; the range began as a single experiment and now ships across the United States. The alcohol-free beer has picked up awards. Fremont has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Seattle Hospitality Group.
