Boochy Mama's

Stacy Jurich learned to brew kombucha while living in Hawaii, where time spent in an eco-village shaped the values the brand carries forward. The business was born in her home kitchen, beginning as a bicycle-delivery operation before taking it commercial, and Boochy Mama's has been growing organically since those early days.

The kombucha is brewed using living SCOBYs, symbiotic cultures of bacteria and yeast, and made with living probiotics from authentic kombucha cultures, resulting in a sparkling, probiotic-rich tonic. The range is botanically flavoured, packaged in cans, and each can contains 1 gram of sugar. Boochy Mama's sources its ingredients locally, and its kombuchas appeal to health-focused and sober-curious drinkers.

The brand has opened a taproom inside Gathered Glassblowing Studio and runs home-brewing workshops, keeping a direct connection to the Toledo community where it started. One of its drinks has won awards.

Boochy Mama's is an environmentally and socially minded business that donates 1% of profits to grassroots Great Lakes advocacy organisations. The brand is stocked in stores across Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana.
