The range draws on a combination of ancient Far East healing philosophy and science-based nutritional knowledge rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. All drinks are made using whole plant ingredients, including monk fruit and mung beans. Karviva covers functional juices, smoothies, fermented teas, energy juices, and wine replacement drinks, with all products carrying a 365-day shelf life. The brand is produced by Fulfill Food and Beverages and launched as an expansion of that company's product line.

Karviva was a pioneer in introducing prebiotics into the beverage market. The brand is also the first beverage maker to use in-house hydroponic farming, a method of growing plants in water rather than soil, to reduce the carbon footprint of production. One of its drinks has picked up an award.
