NIO Cocktails
NIO Cocktails is an Italian RTD cocktail brand headquartered in Milan, selling pre-mixed serves in a distinctive square, CD-sized cardboard sleeve designed to stack flat and travel easily.
The brand's AF lineup launched in 2021, combining Lyre's alcohol-free spirits with other ingredients to produce zero-proof cocktail serves. Lyre's is a specialist producer of spirit-style drinks made without alcohol, and its range provides the flavour foundation for NIO's zero-proof offering. The recipes are developed by Patrick Pistolesi, founder of Drink Kong, a cocktail bar in Rome.
NIO Cocktails operates primarily through a direct-to-consumer model, with additional reach through partnerships covering luxury hotels and airlines. The square sleeve packaging is made from FSC-certified paper (sourced from responsibly managed forests), giving the format an environmental dimension alongside its visual identity.
The brand is aimed at the sober-curious drinker who wants a quality cocktail format for home or travel, with professional bartender input in the recipe development and a format that fits easily into a bag or luggage.
