Sidra Trabanco has been pressing cider apples in Asturias for four generations, with the fourth generation of the Trabanco family now leading the business. Avalon was developed as a departure from traditional Asturian natural cider, designed to be more cosmopolitan and internationally accessible, built on a careful selection of bitter, acid, and sweet apple varieties grown in the cidery's own Asturian orchards. The resulting style is extra-dry with fine, persistent bubbles, shaped by the apple blend rather than residual sweetness.

The AF side of the range includes a dealcoholised sparkling cider, made at full strength and then processed to remove the alcohol while preserving the apple-forward flavour architecture, alongside a low-alcohol variant. Both carry the Avalon style into alcohol-free drinking occasions. Distribution of the AF range runs through specialist alcohol-free retailers.

Avalon's extra-dry, apple-forward profile translates well to dealcoholisation, which is one reason the brand's AF products have found traction in export markets.
