Brand
Brand Brewery is a Dutch brewery, established in Wijlre by the Brand family in 1871. The brewery began producing pilsners in 1902, and the range grew through the 20th century as new styles were added at intervals. One of the brewery's beers is claimed to draw on a Pilsener recipe dating to 1842. New styles entered the range in 1949 and 1952, with a further variety in 1984, a dubbelbock (a strong double bock) in 1987, and a meibock, a seasonal spring bock, in 1994.
Brand also produces an alcohol-free IPA alongside its established portfolio of lagers and bock styles, extending the range to sober-curious drinkers. One of its drinks has won awards.
