Buchi Kombucha is a women-founded, alcohol-free kombucha brand based in Marshall, North Carolina, established in 2008 as the first commercial kombucha brewery in the Southeastern United States.

Founded by Sarah Mullins and Jeannine Buscher, Buchi began as home-brewing in 1-gallon jars with a clear purpose: to make a healthy beverage the founders felt good about giving to their children, families, and community. The brand has been brewing for over 16 years.

Buchi brews its kombucha using a blend of organic green and black teas and certified organic fair-trade sugar, fermented with a SCOBY (a Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast, the live culture that drives the fermentation process). The brewing method is open-air, and the finished product is 100% raw and unpasteurised, meaning no heat treatment is applied after fermentation. Because almost all of the tea's caffeine is consumed during fermentation, a bottle contains roughly as much caffeine as white tea or decaffeinated coffee.

Beyond kombucha, Buchi produced kefir soda between 2017 and 2020, and shrub soda between 2017 and 2019. The brand also ran a living-energy line from 2022 to 2024. One of its drinks has picked up an award.

Buchi is owned by FedUp Foods, a benefit corporation, and supports One Tree Planted. In 2024, the brand transitioned away from local direct-store delivery; its online store currently operates for local delivery only. Distribution is primarily regional, concentrated in the Southeastern United States.
