Camba Bavaria

The brewery originated in Truchtlaching as a showroom for BrauKon, a brewery equipment manufacturer, before growing into a producer that has brewed over 250 different beers. Camba Bavaria cooperates with BrauKon as its parent company and is today led by Markus Lohner and Christian Nuber, supported by a team of more than 35 brewmasters.

The name "Camba" comes from the Latin term for the room monks used for brewing and baking, combined with "Bavaria" to reflect the brewery's regional roots. Camba Bavaria brews according to the Bavarian Purity Law, covering international styles including ales and stouts alongside traditional Bavarian classics. The brewery also specialises in barrel-aged beers, and its permanent range spans nine international styles and six traditional beers. Each brewmaster can put forward their own recipe annually, and new creations are released every month.

Situated within an old water mill in Seeon, the open-plan brewery welcomes visitors Monday to Saturday, with 20 beer styles available on tap and an organic bakery on site. One of its drinks has picked up an award.
