Canvino

The Bianco is the core product. Sourced from the family's estate in Lombardy and made using the traditional Charmat method, it's a lightly sparkling, dry white with fruit-forward notes and a floral edge. Co-founder Marc Laventure has positioned it firmly at the everyday end of premium, pitched at UK outdoor gatherings, festivals, and the kind of occasion where wrestling a full bottle feels excessive.

The can format does carry practical advantages. Aluminium cools faster than glass, stays colder longer, and retains carbonation well. The brand leans into its sustainability angle too: the cans are fully recyclable and lighter to transport than glass, which reduces the carbon footprint per unit.

More recently, Canvino added a zero-alcohol variant to the range. The Bianco Zero Alcohol Fizz draws on the same Italian sparkling wine tradition but is sourced from one of Europe's specialist alcohol-free wine producers. It shares the aesthetic of the alcoholic line and fits the same occasions, which is the point.

The range is available through the brand's own website and through a handful of UK independent retailers and online wine merchants. Tesco stocks the alcoholic Bianco, giving the brand some mainstream shelf presence.

As a canned wine brand that has grafted an AF option onto an existing range, Canvino sits in a fairly crowded space. The Italian provenance and the Decordi family connection give it a credible backstory. Whether the Zero holds up to the original is less clear, but the brand's commitment to matching the experience rather than just ticking a box is evident.
