Château Léoube is a Provençal wine estate acquired in 1997 by the Bamford family, that launched its first alcohol-free sparkling rosé in 2023.

The estate lies in Provence and has been farmed organically since the Bamford family took ownership in 1997. Lord and Lady Bamford, whose other interests include the Daylesford Organic brand and the JCB construction enterprise, restored the estate to a working organic winery with ecological practice at its core.

Winemaking at Château Léoube has been led since 2000 by Romain Ott, from the Ott family, a lineage long associated with Provençal winemaking. The estate positions itself as a pioneer of organic viticulture in the region and its wines are distributed through specialist and luxury retail channels.

Château Léoube entered the AF category in 2023 with its first alcohol-free sparkling rosé, produced using vacuum distillation. This technique works by reducing the atmospheric pressure around the wine, which lowers the boiling point and allows the alcohol to be removed at low temperatures, protecting the delicate floral and fruit aromas that define Provençal rosé. The result is aimed at sober-curious drinkers who want the elegance of a Provençal estate wine without the alcohol.

With an organic heritage stretching back to 1997 and winemaking expertise rooted in one of Provence's most respected families, Château Léoube brings established estate character to the AF category.
