Chouffe is a Belgian beer brand established on 27 August 1982 in the village of Achouffe in the Belgian Ardennes, with an alcohol-free range added in 2023 to a lineup that includes triple-fermented blondes.

Brothers-in-law Pierre Gobron and Chris Bauweraerts founded the brewery as a hobby, beginning in a farm's garage with a 49-litre mash tub. Brasserie d'Achouffe was officially registered as Belgium's first legal craft brewery. The name "Chouffe" arose when a colleague mispronounced "Oumpf", and the brewery's gnome mascot, the first of which was named Marcel, draws on Ardennes folklore. In 1983, brewer Pierre Celis advised adding coriander seeds to the founding blonde beer. Gobron and Bauweraerts purchased the full farm and expanded it into a larger brewery in 1986, and by 1992 production capacity had reached up to 7,000 litres per batch and 500,000 litres a year.

In 2005, the brewery produced the first Belgian IPA, a category it is credited with creating. In 2006, Brasserie d'Achouffe joined the Duvel Moortgat group. The brewery now produces 300,000 hectoliters a year and exports to 72 countries. Its beers are bottle conditioned.

The alcohol-free range, launched in 2023, makes the brand's Belgian ales accessible to sober-curious drinkers through specialist and mainstream channels internationally.
