Collective Arts
Collective Arts is a Hamilton, Ontario craft brewery and distillery that integrates support for emerging visual artists and musicians into its core identity, featuring limited-edition original artwork on every release.
The brand launched its alcohol-free range in 2020, beginning with sparkling botanical waters before expanding into AF beers brewed to match the flavour profiles of its regular lineup. The AF beer range covers hazy and hop-forward styles. Collective Arts has also extended beyond beer into spirits and cocktails through a separate distilling operation, making it a multi-category drinks producer rather than a single-segment brand.
Founded in Hamilton, Ontario, the brewery operates a flagship production facility and taproom there as well as a second taproom and experimental brewery in Toronto's Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood. International distribution spans 20 US states and 14 countries, a footprint that reflects the brand's ambition to grow beyond its Canadian home market while maintaining its grassroots identity. The artist collaboration programme, which invites open submissions from emerging creative talent worldwide, is central to how Collective Arts presents itself internationally.
The brand suits sober-curious drinkers who want AF craft beer connected to a broader creative community, with the packaging itself acting as a rotating gallery of independent art. For a producer at this scale, the dual commitment to drinks quality and cultural output sets Collective Arts apart from most craft producers in the AF category.
