Della Vite was born from a family habit. Sisters Chloe, Poppy and Cara Delevingne had long noticed that the best moments between them tended to happen over a cold glass of prosecco, so in 2020 they decided to make one of their own. The name is a deliberate nod to their surname: Delevingne means 'of the vine' in French, and Della Vite carries the same meaning in Italian.

To make it, they travelled to Valdobbiadene in northern Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the edge of the Dolomites, and partnered with Carlo and Adriana Biasiotto, a third-generation winemaking family whose roots in the region run deep. Production takes place in a solar-powered winery using entirely vegan processes, swapping conventional fining agents for ceramic filtration systems.

The core range is alcoholic prosecco, but in 2024 the brand extended into alcohol-free territory with Della Vite Zero, a de-alcoholised sparkling rosé made from Grenache grapes grown in southern France. It's a different wine from a different region than the prosecco, and the brand is straightforward about that distinction. The result is a dry, pale pink fizz with red berry aromas and a clean finish, sold at a premium price point in line with the rest of the range.

Della Vite sits at the premium end of the celebrity drinks market, stocked at Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Sainsbury's and Ocado. The brand has attracted serious trade coverage and raised significant investment since launch, which speaks to genuine commercial momentum rather than just famous-name novelty.

The alcohol-free offering is currently a single SKU, so it's not a brand to visit if you're looking for range. But if you want a de-alcoholised sparkling rosé with a credible production story and wide retail availability, Della Vite Zero is a well-executed entry.
