Docks Beers
Docks Beers is an independent craft beer brewery founded in 2018 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, operating from a converted church and producing a range of craft beers alongside an alcohol-free option.
Co-founded by Will Douglas and Shahram Shadan, the brewery is the successor to Axholme Brewing Co. It takes its name and inspiration from the fortitude and hard work of dockers. At 25 hectolitres capacity, the brewery produces lagers, traditional ales, hop-forward beers, and experimental seasonal specials and collaborations. Docks Beers has been rated the highest-rated brewery in Lincolnshire on Untappd.
The converted church site houses a taproom and a kitchen. In 2020, Docks Beers opened Docks Academy, a venue on the same site. Brewery tours run throughout the year, with gift vouchers available. The brewery hosted its first DocksFest festival in 2024.
Docks Beers specialises in accessible craft beers, and the alcohol-free beer in its range extends that offer to those seeking options without alcohol. Mixed packs and merchandise are also available.
