Domenis 1898 is an Italian distillery founded in 1898 by Pietro Domenis in Cividale del Friuli, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, producing grappas, liqueurs and other spirits alongside an alcohol-free amaro.

Pietro Domenis established the operation in Cividale del Friuli, in the Province of Udine, and four generations of his family have run the distillery since. Cristina Domenis now leads the business. The spirits range covers grappa, acquaviti, gin, liqueurs, amari, vermouth and sparkling wine. Distillation takes place in eight copper pot stills using a discontinuous method with low-pressure direct steam, a process the distillery itself invented. White and black pomace and fruit are the source materials for its grappas and acquaviti. The distillery cultivates its own grapes, including Friulian varieties such as Refosco, Ribolla Gialla, Schioppettino, Verduzzo and Picolit, alongside Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Merlot.

In 1986 the company launched a product line, and in 1999 it introduced a certified organic range. Domenis 1898 is the only distillery in Italy producing kosher grappa. The business rebranded as DOMENIS1898 srl in 2016.

The brand's alcohol-free offering is an amaro that has picked up an award. Domenis 1898 follows a sustainability philosophy across its production.
