Estrella de Levante is a Spanish lager brand founded in 1963 in Espinardo, Murcia, producing alcohol-free lagers under the 0.0 designation since 2014.

The brewery was established by a group of Murcian businessmen led by Juan López-Hita and operates as part of the Damm Group, one of Spain's major brewing companies. Estrella de Levante launched its first 0.0 lager in 2014, making it an early mover in the Spanish AF beer category. A toasted malt variant was added to the range in 2020, broadening the 0.0 lineup to cover both pale and darker styles.

Both beers are produced using a dealcoholisation process: they are brewed at full strength then have the alcohol removed. What distinguishes the approach is that aromatic compounds recovered during dealcoholisation are reincorporated into the finished beer, a step the brewery documents as central to its 0.0 identity. The brewery also draws on its own malting plant and water wells, giving the range a degree of vertical integration unusual for a regional producer.

Estrella de Levante's production heritage is distinctly local: the Espinardo site has operated continuously since 1963, and the brand maintains a foundation focused on social and environmental projects in the Segura river basin. That regional commitment is as much part of the brand's identity as the beer itself.

The alcohol-free range is available through specialist alcohol-free retailers. With more than six decades of Murcian brewing history behind it, Estrella de Levante offers sober-curious drinkers a Spanish 0.0 lager option with genuine regional provenance.
