Estrella Levante
Estrella Levante is a Spanish pilsner lager brewed in Espinardo, Murcia since 1963, with an alcohol-free range sitting alongside its mainstream beers.
The brewery is rooted in the Murcia region of southeastern Spain, where it has produced pilsner lagers from its Espinardo facility since 1963. Its Sala de Catas tasting room has drawn more than 30,000 visitors. Estrella Levante was the first brewery to calculate its water footprint, and it has achieved a 60 percent reduction in water consumption per litre of beer produced. In 2019, a solar plant opened at the factory. The Estrella de Levante Foundation launched in 2021.
From 2020, Estrella Levante ran a programme of limited-edition seasonal releases. A spring 2022 wheat beer was brewed to the traditional German recipe using 100 percent natural ingredients, combining wheat malt and barley malt. In summer 2021, a Gose was produced with salt from the San Pedro salt flats.
Its alcohol-free beers are available through multiple retail channels, suited to sober-curious drinkers looking for a familiar beer format without the alcohol.
