Galvanina has been bottling water from its hillside spring near Rimini since the early twentieth century. The spring sits on what were once ancient Roman bathing grounds on the slopes above the Adriatic coast, and the brand takes its name from the source itself. Industrial production began in 1928, though the company traces its story considerably further back.

Today Galvanina operates three production facilities plus the Val di Meti source in the central Apennines, and distributes to over fifty countries. The brand holds organic certification across its soft drinks range, with BRC and IFS food safety accreditations alongside. It's a serious operation that has grown well beyond its origins as a local mineral water producer.

The product range spans mineral water (still and sparkling), a broad organic soft drinks line, mixers, iced teas, and a mocktail collection. The soft drinks cover the classic Italian canon: chinotto, cedrata, gassosa, and blood orange sit alongside cola, ginger beer, tonic water, and a range of fruit varieties including ruby grapefruit, pomegranate, and tangerine. Ingredients are sourced from southern Italy and the wider Mediterranean Basin.

The mocktail range is where Galvanina leans most directly into the alcohol-free space, offering ready-to-drink organic versions of spritz, bellini, and mimosa-style drinks. These are designed to land at the table looking the part, served in the brand's distinctive sculpted glass bottles that carry a Renaissance-era coat of arms. The packaging is a genuine differentiator: Galvanina bottles have a recognisable silhouette that reads as premium on a restaurant table or at a dinner party.

The organic credentials are applied consistently across the range rather than selectively. Every soft drink uses certified organic ingredients, and the company has built its modern identity around that commitment. This puts Galvanina in a different bracket from supermarket mixer brands, and the price reflects it.

In the UK, Galvanina products appear in specialist Italian delis, upmarket food retailers, and online. It's not a supermarket staple, which suits the brand's positioning. The glass bottle format and organic certification speak to a buyer who cares about what's in the drink and how it looks on the table.
