Goodh Brewing Co

Back to brands

Goodh Brewing Co is a Cornish craft beer brand founded in Indian Queens, Cornwall, in 2020 by Louis Simpson, taking its name from the Cornish word for 'wild'.

The brewery focuses on modern, progressive styles. Its range includes sours produced through mixed fermentation (a process using multiple yeast strains and bacterial cultures rather than a single cultivated yeast, which develops complex, tangy character) alongside barrel-aged projects. Goodh self-describes as 'Modern Cornish Brewing', a positioning that combines regional identity with an interest in styles well beyond traditional ale and lager categories.

The alcohol-free range extends the brewery's approach to pale ales for drinkers who want craft character without the alcohol. Goodh sells directly to consumers through its own webshop and operates The Thirsty Fish, a taproom in Truro, as its main on-trade and community venue.

Founded in 2020, Goodh is a recent entrant to the Cornish brewing scene but has established a clear identity around progressive techniques and local character. The AF range is modest in scope and aimed at sober-curious drinkers looking for craft complexity from an independent Cornish producer.
