Haus of Babylon
Haus of Babylon is an alcohol-free aperitif brand founded in Dubai by entrepreneur and former venture capitalist Annabel Arcari-Bowler, which debuted in September 2024. A women-owned business based in the United Arab Emirates, it takes its name and concept from the ancient city of Babylon, a place where great thinkers, artists, and change-makers came together. The brand is reportedly the first alcohol-free spirit to emerge from the Middle East.
Its aperitifs are produced using an artisanal distillation process and are built around Middle Eastern botanicals. The blend features cardamom, tamarind, allspice, and hibiscus. One of the brand's drinks has picked up an award.
Positioned for adult drinkers with a taste for considered aperitif choices, the brand is available to buy online, and a ready-to-drink format is being added to the line-up.
