Hawkstone

Hawkstone is a brewery in Gloucestershire, England, with roots in a Cotswolds brewery founded in 2005, producing lager, cider and spirits alongside an alcohol-free option. Its predecessor, Cotswolds Brewing Co., was founded by Emma and Rick Keene with a focus on lager rather than ale, and the brewery is based in Bourton-on-the-Water. Hawkstone itself formed through a collaboration between a farmer and a brewer, arising from a conversation with Jeremy Clarkson about supplying Diddly Squat.

The brewery makes its beer and cider in the Cotswold hills. In 2021 it began collaborating with Jeremy Clarkson, who later bought a stake in the business from Emma Keene. In 2024 The Sunday Times named Hawkstone among the top 100 fastest-growing British companies.

Beyond lager, the range extends into pils, cider and spirits such as gin and vodka, alongside an alcohol-free option aimed at sober-curious drinkers and Dry January participants. Hawkstone runs a bottle subscription scheme and operates a taproom.
