Hayman's

Hayman's is a London family gin distiller with an unbroken heritage since 1863. The story began when James Hayman, the great-great-grandfather of the present family, purchased a small gin distillery in Chelsea that year, beginning five generations of gin-making expertise. Hayman's distillery now operates from Balham in South West London, and the brand describes itself as the last family of original London distillers still making gin in the city.

James Hayman included citrus in his recipes out of a love of Spanish oranges and lemons, cycling to Covent Garden Market in London to collect fresh fruits. Those original family recipes remain the basis of production today. Before settling in London, James had spent time in Canada and the United States.

Each gin is made over two days, following the original family recipes. Hayman's is an independent family business, and its range is available in 70 countries across the world.

Alongside its established gin portfolio, Hayman's offers an alcohol-free range. One of its drinks has picked up awards.
