La Souche is a Quebec microbrewery producing an alcohol-free range that spans IPAs, stouts, and fruit sours, with a brand identity rooted in the forests and outdoor culture of the province. The brewery was co-founded in approximately 2012 by Antoine Bernatchez, Olivier Giguère, and Marc-Antoine Gauthier, and styles itself as a Microbrasserie forestière (a forestry microbrewery), drawing its character from the landscapes of Quebec rather than from craft beer trends imported from elsewhere.

La Souche operates with a foot in both worlds: a full-strength programme brewed on-site and a dedicated AF lineup for designated drivers and sober-curious drinkers who want craft beer flavour without the alcohol. The brewery runs two brewpubs, in Limoilou and Stoneham; the Stoneham location sits on the edge of Quebec's ski and outdoor territory, a setting that informs the rugged, seasonal identity the brand projects across its range.

Distribution is regional and taproom-led, serving Quebec rather than pursuing national shelf presence. La Souche treats its AF range as a genuine part of its output rather than a commercial afterthought, placing it among a small group of Quebec craft producers taking alcohol-free brewing seriously as a craft discipline.
