O'Hara's
O'Hara's is an Irish craft brewery established in 1996, operating under the Carlow Brewing Company name, and producing stouts, ales, wheat beers, and lagers, with an alcohol-free offering in the range.
Founded from the Goods Store in Carlow town, the brewery takes its name from the founders' family name. It was set up with a stated mission to change Irish brewing, and O'Hara's has since become one of the pioneers of Irish craft brewing in Ireland. The business remains independently and family owned, now based in the Barrow Valley region of Ireland at Bagenalstown.
Classic brewing methods underpin the O'Hara's approach, using water, malts, hops, and yeast as the main ingredients. The portfolio stretches from traditional Irish beers to barrel-aged bottlings, covering stouts, ales, wheat beers, and lagers. The brewery also runs its own pub.
The AF side of the range suits sober-curious drinkers and designated drivers looking for a beer in a recognisable Irish style.
