Ponto Nero
Ponto Nero is a Brazilian winery producing espumantes in the Serra Gaúcha region of Rio Grande do Sul, operating as part of Grupo Famiglia Valduga. The brand has been making sparkling wines for over 15 years and is known for young, innovative styles.
Serra Gaúcha provides the terroir for Ponto Nero's grapes. The sparkling wines are made using the charmat method: a technique in which secondary fermentation, the stage that produces the characteristic bubbles, takes place in sealed pressurised tanks rather than individual bottles. The alcohol-free range uses grapes sourced from the same Serra Gaúcha region, with varieties including Moscato Branco and a blend of Prosecco and Merlot grapes.
One of Ponto Nero's alcohol-free drinks has won awards. The alcohol-free range sits within a broader espumante portfolio, extending the brand's Serra Gaúcha sparkling wines to sober-curious drinkers.
