Rodenbach
Rodenbach is a sour beer name from Roeselare, from a brewery founded in 1821, whose foeder halls of oak foeders are protected as industrial heritage of the Flemish Community, the brand says. Alongside its sour beers it makes an alcohol-free fruit ale.
The brewery was founded by Alexander, Gregoor, Pedro and Amalia Rodenbach, members of the Rodenbach family. Rodenbach says it owes its character to Eugène Rodenbach. A visitors' centre with a museum about the family and its beer opened in 2000.
