Saltaire Brewery
Saltaire Brewery is an independently owned brewery based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, that commenced brewing in March 2006 and includes alcohol-free beers in its range.
Founded by Tony Gartland and Derek Todd after the pair met on a Brewlab course in Newcastle, the brewery launched with a bespoke 20-barrel brew kit. The site occupies a former Victorian generating hall that once provided power for the Saltaire tramway, and the brewing plant was designed and built in Germany. A 40-barrel brew kit was installed in 2017 to support growing output.
Saltaire Brewery produces over five million pints a year and operates its own packaging facility. The brewery also offers contract brewing services to other producers. An on-site tap room is open daily except Mondays.
