
Scavi & Ray
Scavi & Ray is an Italian prosecco and wine producer founded in 1963 by Joe Scavi and Carluccio Ray in the Veneto region of Treviso province, with an alcohol-free sparkling range alongside its core portfolio. The pair were living and working in New York when a trip to Italy brought them to a vineyard in the area, and they decided to establish their winery there. The brand is a market leader in the prosecco segment, producing sparkling wines from late-ripening, hand-picked white Glera grapes, with blends using up to 100% Glera. The wider range covers still wines, grappa, limoncello, aromatic oil sprays, and vinegar.
The alcohol-free sparkling range is produced using a spinning-cone process, meaning the wine is passed through rotating cones under vacuum conditions so that the alcohol is extracted while the aromatic character is retained. These wines are suited for non-drinkers, expecting mothers and new parents, and serve as an alternative for drivers.
Packaging across the range is fully recyclable, and the products are produced with sustainability in mind.
