Simsseer Braumanufaktur
Simsseer Braumanufaktur is a small, privately managed brewery based at Stephanskirchen-Krottenhausmühle in Bavaria's Simssee region, producing hand-brewed, unfiltered beers in small batches. Every beer follows the Reinheitsgebot, the Bavarian Purity Law that governs permissible brewing ingredients. The brewery draws on locally grown barley, with at least one variety cultivated specifically for the brand at the Simssee. Parts of the range undergo traditional bottle fermentation, and some beers are brewed using a particularly elaborate mash process.
Alongside its core range, Simsseer brews an alcohol-free spelt wheat beer, extending its offer to sober-curious drinkers. One of the brewery's drinks has picked up an award.
The brewery operates as a GmbH & Co. KG, represented by Katja Milkreiter. Brewing courses are available from the Stephanskirchen site. Distribution covers the Munich region and the surrounding areas.
