South West Orchards
South West Orchards is an English cider brand produced by Sheppy's Cider Limited, an independent family business that has been making cider for 200 years. Rooted in Somerset, the brand makes traditional, full-bodied ciders fermented naturally from 100% fresh pressed apple juice, using no additives.
The apples are carefully selected West Country varieties, including Yarlington Mill, Harry's Master and Dabinett, which together produce a medium-dry character. After fermentation, the cider is matured in its natural state for 3 months, a step that allows the liquid to develop without further intervention.
South West Orchards covers a range of draught and bottled ciders, with an alcohol-free craft cider also in the portfolio. The alcohol-free version is made with a blend of traditional cider and dessert apple juice, produced in keeping with the brand's additive-free approach. It offers sober-curious drinkers a way into Somerset cider heritage without alcohol.
