Stomping Ground

The brewery was founded by the team behind The Local Taphouse and the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GABS) festival, bringing well-established credentials in Melbourne's craft beer scene to the Stomping Ground project. The Collingwood site is a large-scale brewery and beer hall built around the model of the great European beer halls, with a second venue operating at Melbourne Airport. In 2022, the brand was acquired by Libation Nation.

That same year, Stomping Ground entered the AF beer market with a dedicated alcohol-free offering, extending its existing range for sober-curious drinkers and designated drivers who want craft beer without the alcohol. The brand follows a mixed model: a full brewing programme running alongside a growing AF range, rather than an AF-only positioning.

Distribution is multi-channel, spanning the brewery's own venues, independent retail stockists, and mainstream Australian supermarkets. For drinkers across Australia, Stomping Ground represents a craft option with significant venue presence, genuine brewing heritage, and broad retail availability.
