Studio Zero is an alcohol-free wine range sold exclusively through ASDA, produced by Reh Kendermann, Germany's largest export winery. The Bingen-based winery has been making wine since 1920 and is the producer behind Black Tower, one of Germany's most recognised export wine brands. Studio Zero draws on that technical heritage to put dealcoholised wine into mainstream supermarket reach at an accessible price point.

The range covers three styles: a Merlot, a Tempranillo Rosé, and a Sauvignon Blanc. All three are dealcoholised rather than crafted from scratch as non-alcoholic alternatives, meaning they start life as proper wine before the alcohol is removed. The Merlot leans soft, with gentle red berry fruit and minimal tannin. The Tempranillo Rosé is pale salmon in colour with strawberry and watermelon notes and a noticeably sweet finish. The Sauvignon Blanc goes for freshness over intensity, with green apple and mild citrus lifted by light carbonation.

The range sits firmly at the budget end of the AF wine market. These are supermarket-shelf wines designed for everyday drinking rather than any particular occasion, and the sweet profile across all three reflects that positioning. They're unlikely to convert anyone who finds most dealcoholised wine unconvincing, but for ASDA shoppers looking to pick up an AF bottle alongside the weekly shop without spending much, Studio Zero fills that gap reliably enough.
