Tiny Rebel
Tiny Rebel is a craft brewery based in Rogerstone, Newport, Wales, founded in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams, and Wales' biggest independent craft brewery. The range spans IPAs and ales in eye-catching cans, with the brewery's first alcohol-free beer marking its first venture into alcohol-free brewing.
Cummings and Williams began homebrewing in the father of Cummings' garage using plastic buckets, cooler boxes and rewired kettles. They moved to a rented industrial unit in Maesglas, Newport, before opening a bar in Cardiff in late 2013 and launching the brewery's first lager in 2014. A pop-up bar opened in Newport in 2015; that same year Tiny Rebel brought the first independent beer festival to Cardiff. In January 2017 the brewery moved to a new custom-made facility and taproom in Rogerstone, with an annual capacity of 5 million litres. The can range was redesigned in 2019.
Tiny Rebel now exports to 20 countries and runs Rebel Fest, a recurring beer festival. The brewery also operates a community fund called Birthday Bucks. The alcohol-free beer sits alongside the main craft lineup, available through multiple retail channels, and broadens the brand's reach to sober-curious drinkers who want beer options from an independent Welsh brewery.
