Tripel Karmeliet
Tripel Karmeliet is a Belgian tripel brewed with barley, wheat and oats, and it comes in an alcohol-free version as well as the original. It is made by Bosteels Brewery, from the Bosteels family brewery founded in 1791 by Jean-Baptiste Bosteels.
Antoine Bosteels refined the recipe from 1993, and while doing so found a historical recipe from 1679 almost identical to his own. Tripel Karmeliet says Karmeliet Grand Cru is a limited-edition beer added to its family. Its alcohol-free beer is sold by alcohol-free specialists.
