Trzech Kumpli
Trzech Kumpli is a Polish brewery founded in July 2014 by three friends who had known each other since primary school, now producing alcohol-free beers alongside its main range. The brewery began life in a kitchen in Tarnów and operates as a family company, with its beers brewed in Żywiec. The first alcohol-free beer in its range was an IPA-style brew, first produced in August 2020.
The brewery's alcohol-free output is grouped under the Unplugged line, with each beer designed to mirror a specific style as closely as possible and intended to taste almost identical to its alcoholic counterpart. The range covers IPAs, pale ales, oatmeal stouts, sour ales, and Grodziskie. Grodziskie is a traditional Polish beer style, and Trzech Kumpli first brewed its version in 2018, using a traditional smoking method with oak wood in a hearth. The recipe calls for smoked wheat malt, barley malt, and Marynka hops.
All beers are brewed from natural ingredients: water, hops, yeast, and malt. Hops are sourced from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, the United States, New Zealand, and Australia. Across the range, several beers also incorporate oat flakes, citrus peel, and tropical fruits including mango, passion fruit, and white guava, as well as speciality hop varieties such as Mosaic.
One of the brewery's alcohol-free beers has picked up an award. Trzech Kumpli sells through multiple retail channels.
