Whiplash

Whiplash is an independent microbrewery from Dublin, Ireland, founded in 2016 by Alex Lawes and Alan Wolfe. The pair met while working together at Rye River Brewing Company and began Whiplash as a weekend project, using available fermentation space there to produce one-off beers. The venture eventually led to the construction of their own custom-designed brewery in Ballyfermot.

Whiplash produces both traditional and modern style beers and has built a reputation for hoppy ales. A permanent year-round range sits alongside four to six limited edition specials released each month. The brewery is regarded as being at the vanguard of modern Irish craft beer, and also founded Fidelity, Ireland's best international beer festival.

Alongside its main range, Whiplash produces an alcohol-free beer, giving sober-curious drinkers an AF option from one of Dublin's independent craft breweries.
