Wild Life Botanicals

Bradshaw came to the category from a background in luxury food and drink and found the existing options in the alcohol-free sparkling wine space lacking. Her aim was to build something different: a drink that combined sparkling wine with a functional blend of botanical and vitamin-enriched ingredients. To develop the range, she assembled a specialist team that included a naturopath, an oenologist, a master brewer and a food scientist.

The wines are made from dealcoholised wine (brewed at full strength and then the alcohol removed), grape must concentrate, and an elixir of vitamins, minerals and botanicals. Eight active vitamins and minerals go into each bottle, alongside five botanicals: lemon balm, damask rose, ashwagandha, rosemary and damiana. Carbonation is introduced just before bottling. The range sits at 0.5% alcohol by volume.

Wild Life Botanicals is aimed at a new generation of conscious drinkers. Its labels feature abstract artwork from 'Eco System' by local Cornish artist Sarah Trewhella. The range is stocked at premium retailers and available direct from its own website.
