About This Drink
Write A To Do List uses three of the most recognisable hops in modern craft IPA: Citra, Mosaic and Motueka. It's not a complicated hop bill, but it's a well-chosen one. Citra and Mosaic bring the mango, grapefruit and passion fruit; Motueka adds a citrusy, lime-forward brightness that keeps the whole thing from going too sweet. The aroma is the stronger side of the drink. On the palate the hop flavour follows through cleanly enough, with a light, soft body that avoids the thin or watery texture that catches out a lot of 0.5% IPAs. The finish is dry with moderate bitterness and a clean citrus fade. Deya brew this at their Cheltenham site alongside their full-strength range. It's the more straightforward end of their alcohol-free output, pitched as an approachable entry point rather than a showcase of esoteric hop varieties. Does what it sets out to do.
