ICE Non-alco
Lithuanian non-alcoholic lager cold-conditioned at minus one degree Celsius, giving it a noticeably softer texture and lower bitterness than most in the category.
About This Drink
Cold-conditioning at -1°C is what sets ICE Non-alco apart on paper. The extended maturation at sub-zero temperatures smooths out the bitterness and rounds the body, and you can taste the difference: this is a notably gentle lager with very little sharpness. The aroma is clean and neutral, the grain note barely registers, and the finish is almost imperceptibly short. That's not a criticism. The point is ease and drinkability. If you want something to drink through a long afternoon without any one flavour asserting itself, this does the job. It works better very cold than at room temperature — pour it from the fridge and it's perfectly inoffensive company.
