Run Free started as a practical solution: Left Handed Giant wanted their running club to have something worth drinking post-run, regardless of whether they were drinking alcohol that day. The result has become a proper addition to their AF lineup rather than a novelty. Citra and Mosaic hops give it the hop-forward character you'd want from an IPA - grapefruit, orange peel, mango and a thread of pine on the nose. The malt base provides a creamy mouthfeel, finishing with light biscuit and enough bitterness to feel like an IPA rather than a flavoured water. The low-alcohol production technique used by LHG preserves the hop aroma better than most dealcoholised alternatives. Vegan friendly.
