Rekorderlig is a Swedish cider brand, and their Strawberry & Lime is arguably the drink that put premium fruit ciders on the UK mainstream map. The alcohol-free version is a direct recreation of that formula, made with pure Swedish spring water and aiming to replicate the original's flavour profile without any alcohol. It is unambiguously sweet. The strawberry character is prominent — ripe and fairly authentic rather than synthetic — with a lime note that provides a clean, citric edge to balance things. What you are not getting is the mild tannin and fermentation complexity that the alcoholic version carries, so if you know the original well you will notice the difference. On its own terms as an AF fruit cider, it is competent and crowd-pleasing. At 39 calories and 9.3g sugar per 100ml it is on the sweeter end compared to many AF alternatives. It is vegan and gluten-free, comes in the familiar 500ml glass bottle, and is available at most major UK supermarkets. Best served cold over plenty of ice with a squeeze of lime.
