Pilsner is a style that punishes vagueness. Get it wrong and you've got something thin, grassy, and forgettable. Lakedown's AF version leans into the classic German template: Saaz hops, clean malt base, and very little else standing between you and the beer. Saaz gives the Pilsner its character — that distinctive herbal, slightly spicy quality that distinguishes a proper lager from a generic one. It's light by design, which in this case works in its favour. Less than 0.5% ABV, brewed with Sussex spring water, and it keeps its crispness through a clean bitter finish. Vegan and gluten-free.
