Botivo Batch 36 is an alcohol-free botanical aperitivo made at Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire. It uses an oxymel preparation, a traditional method where botanicals are steeped in a base of vinegar and honey rather than water or spirit. Five botanicals (rosemary, thyme, gentian root, wormwood leaf, and orange zest) are infused in aged British apple cider vinegar and organic wildflower honey, with each batch taking over a year from start to finish. The brand also produces a Sparkling Botanical Aperitivo alongside this version.
