The recipe draws on the Cascadian Dark Ale tradition, using a blend of dark roasted malts to develop coffee and dark chocolate character while a heavy dry-hop addition provides the bitterness and aromatics of a West Coast IPA. The result sits at the intersection of stout and IPA.
