About This Drink
Bravus Hoppy Red was one of the brewery's core launch styles, included from the start to demonstrate that alcohol-free beer could support a heavy malt and hop load without thinning out. The recipe follows the West Coast red ale template, with a sweet malt backbone balanced by a bitter hop finish. Unlike dealcoholised alternatives, the proprietary Bravus process ferments the beer naturally to its finished state, stopping at low alcohol rather than stripping it back afterwards. Within the wider Bravus range, the Hoppy Red positions itself as the more complex, bitter-leaning option for drinkers who find lighter styles less satisfying.
