BrewDog Hazy AF was launched in January 2020 alongside the brand's first dedicated alcohol-free bar, and is the AF counterpart to Hazy Jane, the brewery's flagship New England IPA. It is built around a hop bill of Cascade, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe, with oats and wheat increased to deliver the body characteristic of the New England style. A deliberately slow fermentation, which the brand describes as lazy, is used to retain the proteins and starches that give the beer its haze rather than converting them to alcohol.
