Burnside Right to Roam is an alcohol-free IPA brewed at the brewery's base in Laurencekirk, South Aberdeenshire. It came out of founder Margo Macnab's dissatisfaction with non-alcoholic beer options during pregnancy, launching in August 2022. The beer uses locally malted barley and pure mountain water, then is clarified purely by time and temperature, a cold-conditioning process that avoids additives. Citrus, pine and grapefruit sit at the front, with tropical fruit and a clean malt backbone, and gentle bitterness carries through.
